Since 1983 FIMAS has been a benchmark in the Italian outdoor paving industry, standing out for the technical quality, the reliability and the aesthetic value of its production.
The company was founded on an innovative entrepreneurial vision: to give value to the volcanic material of Mount Etna by turning it into a product designed for architecture and urban spaces. That insight gave rise to MONOSTRATO VULCANICO DELL’ETNA (Etna volcanic monolayer paving), a paving material that holds the identity of the Sicilian territory and translates it into a technical solution built to last.
In more than forty years of activity, FIMAS has constantly developed and refined its production processes, widening the range of available finishes and solutions and consolidating its presence in both the public and the private sector.
FIMAS paving is used in the construction and redevelopment of squares, roads, sidewalks, pedestrian routes and shared spaces, as well as in the design of villas, swimming pools, gardens, courtyards and prestigious residential settings.
The production plant, located in Riposto on the slopes of Mount Etna, covers a total area of approximately 35,000 m², 5,000 m² of which are covered, and is the manufacturing and technological heart of the company.
The FIMAS philosophy is based on the pursuit of excellence, on the selection of raw materials, on the control of production processes and on the continuous technical and aesthetic evolution of the product.
The aim is to offer paving able to combine performance, strength, safety and design, while maintaining a strong bond with the territory and with the Italian manufacturing tradition.
Confirming its commitment to high organizational, quality and environmental standards, FIMAS operates a Quality Management System compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and an Environmental Management System compliant with UNI EN ISO 14001:2015.
